This course is designed for people who already hold a valid full Facial certificate. Over 16 years of age.
Ultrasound therapy facial treatment is an enhancement of a basic facial treatment for clients.
Thermal Treatment (Hot & Cold Hammer)
The heat will increase the size of the blood vessels, increasing blood flood and allowing the active ingredient used during the ultra sound procedure to be distributed throughout the target area more effectively.
As well as increasing blood flow using a heat based treatment it will prepare the surface skin for microdermabrasion by opening up the skin pores and making it easier for the vacuum to exfoliate and cleanse the skin and aid the body to release harmful toxins. Thermotherapy can also be used to relieve pain, relax collagen tissue, decrease joint stiffness, relieve muscle spasms and reduce inflammation.
Cold Therapy
Cold therapy is the use of low temperatures in the aesthetic/medical history and is the last treatment performed using the Electrical Facial.
Cold therapy will also create a soothing effect leaving your client feeling completely refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated. This is a great technique to be used at the end of any treatment

To PASS this course you will need to score 70%+ on your theory exam & submit photographic evidence including before & after pictures of your work
Providing you have reached the required standard, your certificate will then be emailed to you.
Any student not reaching the required standard to receive their certificate will be given guidance from our tutor how to improve their work and will be able to re-submit their assessment free of charge.
The certificate will be produced in PDF format, optional hard copies of the certificate will be available for an additional fee of £9.99.(UK only)
